what a summer it has been... a few months ago I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis :-( with possible 2 feet operations scheduled for this autumn...so that was the cause of my sore dancing feet... I thought... :-( also knew we had to look into a new venue..the size of the latin hall...the desire to have later openings on some nights...and the heat...where all issues to resolve...so when we were told we had to start closing earlier I knew I had to find somewhere suitable...but first I decided to go traveling ..take time out and think things through...came back to nearly 2 1/2 months of doing 2 peoples work at the Uni.. :-( but things finally settling..I saw the Surgeon last week and she assured me it wasnt rheumatoid arthritis..YES!! :-) that I could initially go for injections rather than surgery..and I have a venue in place which I originally found nearly 10 years ago...there is no perfect venue... I have always said Salsatricity is not the venue...but the noise/heat and opening times have been resolved and am excited...and relieved...and looks like my colleague will be returning to work soon... the future looks full of sunshine xxx and as always constantly reminded of those who help my world go round...bathed in sunshine!! xx
