what does the confederate battle flag also known as rebel flag or stars and bars stand for?? racism?? no! being country??? no although many country people agree with the meanin of the flag though... white supremacy?? no although they do fly it at their meetings... what the flag actualy stood for was the south felt as if their rights were bein trampled on by federal government and they did not like how the country was bein ran and they did not believe in a centralized government and they wanted states rights so each state could make their own laws and and didnt have to enforce the federal laws.... they are many rumors that it was over slavery because just as any war they were tryin to make it more dramatic and the union was tryin to make their self look good but if this was true why would president Lincoln himself say that "if i could end the war without freein a slave i would do so"?? well i could keep goin on this subject but i will just leave yall with that... and as far as the south risen again yes i think it will happen but i hope that it doesnt lead to war or secession because together we are united but if we split we will weaken though - little bucket
