Examples of racial profiling on ethnic groups in the U.S. include African Americans - Gangs, Hispanic and Latinos - Illegal Immigration, and Arab and Muslims/South Asians - Terrorism. The existence of racial profiling dates back to slavery in USA. In 1693, Philadelphia’s court officials gave police legal authority to stop and detain any Negro (freed or slaved) seen wandering around on the streets. This discriminatory practice continued through the Jim Crow era and now in the twenty-first century, racial profiling is prevalent across cities in the U.S.....AND THUS MY THINKING-MIND SCREAMS: 1. Today in USA community-Ethnic-co-existence between Yankees per se and African-Yankees is at a all time low...but really this equal-rights-co-existence has never existed in USA since before even birth of USA as a nation some 250 years ago and as pointed out above goes back to 1600s, that is some 500 years ago.... 2.
