what is fleeting? is it life or the absence thereof? incredulous is the love of another, when fenced by social awareness. how large the respect for a love lost. also therein a squandered forgiveness, a recompense given and wasted by childish desires of the flesh which ironically go unfulfilled. what regret upon reflection, to ponder on what may have been. the other moves on and the fool remains empty inside. forgotten for a time only to reemerge within oneself upon reflection. sadness is a gift as a mountain sunset, melancholy but with pride. sorrow is the orange glow reflecting off of the trees awaiting darkness, desperately absorbing the last of the days light and warmth. the silence that can exist within darkness can be overwhelming. the wind that funnels through the arboreal setting, the leaves and needles sing along to the humming of the sun, hidden from view daily. he hides only to be revealed again, is gone with frost only to heat the damp vegetation once more. lost so that it may be found, come only onto the willows of the forgotten deep of mountainside forests, the smell of snow lingers on dry air. crisp are the breaths of mornings light, the cool air and the warm sunlight. smile then, find solace in these moments for again the night will come. dawn as the antithesis of dusk as the seeds find soil, a full growth all ahead. not a one behind itself only the stillness of the night. how say one to a weary wonderer that comes in from the night running through the wilderness, a stem of lavender tucked into his black watch cap. heavy is his burden to bear far he has to go, and so long he has come already. looking for fires in the distance, busting draws on flame around him struggling through the dense groupings of saplings chard by the flame streaking his face and cloths with the ash, there is smoke in the air the smell of fire is tremendous. he has been here before if only in a dream. so then goes creation, in a cycle as the moon earth sun.
