what is hell for a practioner? breaking a vow/principle...and pretending you have not or would not ever break it. taking vows to never steal or lie or kill...and then mistakenly rationalizing to steal or to lie or even kill for ones own selfish purpose....and being intelligent enough to know these breaking of vows are a path toward hell, but being in denial about it all for the sake of preserving ones name and fame...and position within a community...thinking that you can still benefit others with your infinite wisdom and that you can transcend the fault of your broken vow which you haven not regretted, not purified, and not been even truthful about because of the heavy denial that runs so deep that even you believe in it. and how will the meditation be? it will be like hell...with many reminders of what you have done....like the beating of the heart....the Fall of the House of Usher....omg....so let us all keep our vows and confess them when we break them for our own sake and for the sake of all other sentient beings.....om ah hung
