what is so special about this short story? One fine morning, I went to Krispy Kreme for some of their yummy donuts. Oh, they’re so good! You smell sweet, doughiness wispily drifting when pulling in which excites your hunger growing short seconds by long minutes spent NEEDING those delicious crispy crullers, …sticky fritters, …or gooey crème filled goodies! Two police officers toting four very big boxes were just exiting. They greeted me with winking smiles quite cheerfully while we conversed briefly. Upon entering, utterly incredible horror loomed everywhere! Every shelf within each counter …EMPTY! Nothing but pitiful, nibbling crumbs could be found! The lesson? Never trust smiling cops!
