what super sucks for me is all this activist attention by non-affected allies could be directed at the original issue, but instead it is directed at a bunch of tangential issues that arent even real in the same way as the original issue, and native americans are once again left high and dry with their actualities they face, instead of hypotheticals that allies are hand-wringing over. this isnt anything about the reactions and actions of people directly affected by either the joke, or the original issue of the redskins team, but the allies who are taking up the #cancelcolbert cause while ignoring the actual beginning issue of the very real redskins team name and organization designed to deal with it.
