what to do for my final day in costa rica... and the last day of my central american adventure? i got up at daybreak, had some rice and beans with scrambled eggs and fruit with coffee of course -a local staple, then i drove 10 minutes down a curvy 40 km/h road up and down little hills to reach the manuel antonio nature preserve! i then hiked two kilometers into the jungle where I encountered a couple of stunning, rocky beaches where i soaked to cool off then did a 1.4 kilometer hike up into a jungle teaming with plants, wildlife, and amazing views 😃. after spotting monkeys, tapirs, bats, lizards, a raccoon and some amusing tourists, i headed back toward my hostel 😀. outside the entrance to the park is a small restaurant that was recommended to me by my hostel host in san jose - so i had a lunch of almond crusted red snapper with rice and vegetables that was melt in your mouth delish! add a guana-banana, strawberry smoothie and i was in heaven! i then decided to spend the rest of the day on a catamaran, seeing the shore line i had hiked earlier that day while having vodka punch 👍😀 they also fed us a yummy meal of steak kebabs with pasta salad and fresh watermelon and pineapple, after we had snorkeled and slid down a built in slide!! what a great day and holiday!! i hope you all have enjoyed the pics, its been simply awesome!! I highly recommend central america to anyone thinking about coming!! pura vida mae!! life is good, man!! 👍😀❤️🌹
