what you choose to see June 19, 2011 at 6:29pm What is true ?? What can be true ?? What is truth to you ?? Most people never stop to really think about it And now as you read this your mind already begins to react “ I know what is true and what is not, where’s she going with this” Bear with me, for most of what you think is true just may not be so Lets start at the beginning, in the days of childhood, early school All you thought YOU knew was the acceptance of what you were told The more you valued the teller, the more absolute truth it then became It matter not what anyone said, it had to be true, so and so, told me And it was burned into you, into the subconscious of your very being And oh the stories, the lies you were told, of every manner of thing Depending on the teller some may have been true but many were not And why, because they, believed their teller when they were also young So we have lies, bigotry of all shapes and types from generation to generation Passed on when there was no one to say, this, or that is definitely not true It gets worse, why, because here is something no one bothered to tell you You see, not what is true, but your eyes see what you believe to be true This is why “eye witness” testimony although accepted as “ can’t be wrong” Turns out to be one of the least reliable things to be considered in a trail And the more emotional one is, fear, jealousy, hate, love, the more it is false It went on in school, went from grade to grade, history rewritten all to often Great concepts across time rejected, then accepted, then proven wrong again Great lies in medicine, treatments that killed and harmed so many over time Yet how few stood up to find the truth for themselves in the face of ridicule And of course money too often demanded everyone believe the lie, still does So what is it you see with those eyes of yours your subconscious has not painted Telling you, in an instant, this or that is true, strictly a reaction without any logic Are you beginning to hopefully see, to begin to question everything you know Your subconscious is now, right now, fighting you not to do this, not to learn A few of you will look back and go wow, the lies, most will not, keeping the lies For many have become comfortable with the lies for so long they are the truth So few want to change, to question, and yet…..they want to grow as a person Surprise, you can’t do that until you know what it is YOU believe, not another Is what you think you believe true at all ? Is what you think you see, real at all? If you believe it is true enough for you, then all this will mean nothing to you But for those few who might be ready to question what they think they know Then, you’re on a new journey to find, yourself, what hidden prejudices you have How many things you never before bothered to question now are open game Learning only comes when you begin to realize, the things you seek now May have absolutely nothing with what you currently choose to believe, to see Think back, on your long journey, to wherever it is you want to go, or want to be In searching for the answers have you questioned everything put before you Or, have you reached out only to that which fit’s the level of your comfort What is it you chose to see ?? What do your eyes see in each leader, guru, teacher In yourself. For there, in you are where the answers lie, only within the you that is Fight your subconscious, it has lied to you for a lifetime, others persons thoughts Each time you “react“, stop, ask why you are “reacting“ to some stimulus as you do When if logic was applied you would simply not pay any attention to what happened This goes back to the saying, no one can hurt you, unless you allow them to do so So when useless words hurt, look back and learn of the reactions and change them You eyes are the mirror of you, what you choose to see, is what your world will be Let it be, your vision, not that of someone else, from long ago, with their own problems Hopefully you have changed and learned as you journey, of many things and times But so few consider their subconscious, and there, are most all of our instant reactions Change it, and you change all there is, and your eyes will delight in what they see...
