when I am awoken by an interrupt from the alarm clock process, only my bootloader is running. Its only purpose is to disable an alarm interrupt and go back to sleep. By installing the Alarm Puzzle feature on my phone alarm clock, this forces my main application to be invoked and boot up. This application has capability for problem solving as compared to the bootloader. As a side effect, consciousnes occurs. The net effect of this process is I wake up rather than going back to sleep.
