when Jesus by the Holy Spirit begins to reveal Himself to you, it is such a huge thing, it will take a lifetime and even more to take it in....... Joh 14:15 If you love me, keep my commandments. Joh 14:16 I will ask the Father to give you another Helper, to be with you always. Joh 14:17 He is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor recognizes him. But you recognize him, because he lives with you and will be in you. Joh 14:18 I am not going to forsake you like orphans. I will come back to you. Joh 14:19 In a little while the world will no longer see me, but you will see me. Because I live, you will live also. Joh 14:20 At that time you will know that I am in my Father, that you are in me, and that I am in you. Joh 14:21 The person who has my commandments and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I, too, will love him and reveal myself to him. Joh 14:22 Judas (not Iscariot) asked him, Lord, how is it that you are going to reveal yourself to us and not to the world? Joh 14:23 Jesus answered him, If anyone loves me, he will keep my word. Then my Father will love him, and we will go to him and make our home within him. Jesus has promised to reveal Himself, not to the world, but to those who love Him and keep His commandments. so, is Jesus speaking of moses commandments? or is He speaking of the kingdom of heaven, the new covenant? this is big subject, but if it is not understood correctly, the revelation of who Jesus is and how His kingdom works, will be distorted. under the law, only aaron and his sons could be priests. it took the blood line of the flesh to qualify a priest. a priest is a mediator between man and God. the priest under the law was the only one who could minister in the temple, and even go to the deeper places in the temple. if that were still true, only levitical jews could minister in the church. here is what Jesus has done when He changed the law covenant by fufilling it, and gave us the covenant of grace.... Rev 1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants—things which must shortly take place. And He sent and signified it by His angel to His servant John, Rev 1:2 who bore witness to the word of God, and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, to all things that he saw. Rev 1:3 Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near. Rev 1:4 John, to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace to you and peace from Him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven Spirits who are before His throne, Rev 1:5 and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, Rev 1:6 and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. when Jesus washed us, taking our sins away, He then made us, all of us to be kings and priests. Jesus has given to each of us to be able to minister in the kingdom of heaven, not the earthly temple, or building, but in the spiritual kingdom, being able to do what Jesus did...... Joh 14:10 Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works. Joh 14:11 Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves. Joh 14:12 Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. as Jesus reveals Himself to you, He shows you what is possible, if you believe, you will the same things He did. once this soaks in, you will find yourself hungry to have this happen. it may begin in a huge way with miracles, signs and wonders happening in abundance, or it may begin with one at a time either way, once it begins, keep it up! as you go, Jesus will reveal Himself, some of those will be with healings, deliverances, miracles. the more you believe, the more Jesus will do!
