when Sloane stephens beat serena Williams in the AO all I heard was Sloane is the new face of American tennis. she is in and serena is old and out. they never took into consideration how serena was playing on a busted ankle, he ankle was so swollen that even tape couldnt help her, than she began to have back spasms during the match and had to serve underhanded. (ask tiger about those back spasms!) lol so stephens beats her and now what does she do? does she win the AO ? no she promptly loses the next match. lol and what does serena do after that loss? u guessed it, she wins the French open and the us open twice. meanwhile what has the new face of American tennis done? u know the one who accused serena of being disrespectful to her by saying COME ON! has she watched serena play, cause serena has done that her whole career, even to venus and shes her sister! lol what would Sloane do if she had to shoot free throws and the crowd yelled? lol she has the talent, no doubt, but what she lacks is HEART. last night watching her play was enjoyable for me because she is not to be even mentioned in the same sentence as serena Williams, she is not worthy. u always know when serena takes the court, she wants to win, its written all over her, say what you haters will about her, but you can never doubt her heart and will to win. u certainly cant say that about Sloane. she needs to stop being envious of serena and venus and learn from them. and off the subject but this needs to be said: mary carillo stop talking about venus Williams hairstyle. you dont understand and you never will just pay attention to the tennis and report on that.
