when it comes to them hurtful hateful gaybashing homophobic types I wonder how much less worst them types would be if they were doing it more in the spirit of harmless albut mean spiritied heckling like statler and waldorf always did from the balcony to fozzy bear on the muppet show dont get me wrong folks I love a good bit of playful trash talking as much as the next guy does but when them hatefultypes go to far in the matter it ruins it for everyone THIS is why bad comics are taught how to, and can, take ANYTHING as a compliment! If you dont let the hecklers get the last one in at you, theyll quit eventually. Youd be surprised how often Ive been called a moron with my jokes (almost as bad as the bear). Instead of taking the come here & say that! approach, I say; Well, if that be the case, if we were both standing on the same cliff ledge, youd fall off & I wouldnt cause Id be more on! Then they usually tell me to shut up. And Ill just respond; Aint that what you do when you close a door on the ceiling? ....And theyll just keep pitching them & Ill just keep hitting them until THEY get tired of trying and go away. Heres the best part: The more this kind of thing goes on, the more ammunition they (unknowingly) give you!
