whenever people who know me see me eating my lunch all alone, they will usually ask me why. why so loner? why so lonely? why so emo? wanna eat together or not? nobody eat with you ah? well, on the contrary, eating by myself is a choice i consciously make and i try to do that as often as i can, especially while at work. i dont know if it is the social stigmas that lead people to have negative impressions of a lone meal but it sure empowers me and gives me room to be by myself and bask in the comfort of my own space and skin. so, no, i am not the anti-social sort, neither am i emo, depressed, lonely, or have no one to eat with. i prefer to be alone at times and i will not let peer pressure or impressions sway me.
