whew! what an afternoon! we made 28cups of pumpkin puree and made 5 large pies so far... Elliott, Eric and I are making ours on another day.... Tyler took his filling, crusts, pie plates to his house to bake tonight. Logan and Savannah took one pie each and enough filling for another one that their grandmother can put into a crust... sure takes a lot longer with little hands helping... but they are all so proud! Hope they like them. we even had an egg cracking lesson during the process..... I will sleep well tonight!
