while driving at work last night i started to let my thoughts roam. Where i am today and how i got here is a long story :) i wanna share the short Version With you all. It started 4 years ago, i bought a car that didnt run(worst purchase ever) because of that i got to know a great man that run a car-import comapny in norway TOm Ole Svendsen is his name. He became a great friend and introduced me to the Norwegian drift-scene wich was awsome, i have never driven so many powerful sportscars in my life trough out that year, hehe. (supras,Silvias and skylines just to mention a few) i Also got to know another guy who had somewhat an impact on where i am at today, his name is Fredric Fredric Aasbø, super friendly and always With a smile type of guy With a amazing driving talent. He risked all and went over to the House of drift in Irwindale for race at the end of the season of 2009 and by a spure of the moment decision i wanted to fly over and support and watch the race. With help from Owner of Japan Auto and tom ole svendsen i managed to get a last minute mediapass Access for the race and i got in touch With Fredric and asked if he and his small crew wanted a pair of extra hands, he said yes come on over. and there my adventure started. I am no mechanic, i dont know much about cars other then i should stay away from driving them on a track :) but i became a hero in getting startbucks and Subway for the small crew who consited of, Joachim Waagaard, Thomas Rønningen, Steffen Moy and a dude called Devin Lee from Torrance. needless to say i got hooked on the Formula Drift scene and then and there i decided to og back following year for Vegas race. And so i did....my first night there i met this wonderful girl and fell in-love at first sight(true story ) Today Kristeen Stephens Kalrud is my wife ,we have a beautyful baby-girl who is about to turn 2 years old, I live in CA, i would never have dreamed of this 4 years ago when i decided to og to see Fredics Virgin race in the FD Circus . Yeah i know im starting to rant now, was suppose to make it short but trust me this is the short Version, now back to the topic, 4 years ago i was at Irwindale for the last race of FD season, nxt weekend(got tickets already) it is time again, Fredric Aasboe, Michael Essa,JR and many others are batteling it out for one last timethis year and the fight for the championship is a Close one and i will be there With my wonderful wife to see who wins :) short Version :) SEND IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
