Gurdwara Singh Shaheedan at Ajitgarh (Mohali) arranged screenings of Vismaad movies on occasion of Shaheedi Divas of Bhai Taru Singh Ji. The fairly large sangat watched two movies in open grounds of the Gurdwara Sahib after smapati of evening divans. My personal experience is that such progressive thinking Gurdwara managements are rare to find. The president of Gurdwara Sahib sat through movie screenings on both evenings. Jatin Singh Khalsa made me attend both the screenings. On second day before screening of Bhai Subeg Singh Shahbaz we decided to run an impromptu quiz on Bhai Taru Singh movie, which was screened the day before. It was very encouraging to see young kids answer questions so well. One girl had her hand raised up for every question and ended up bagging two chocolates as prize. :) Somebody send the message to Jathedaars that: do as much damage as you can on instructions of Father-Son but you cant damage Sikhi at all. There are enough committed Gursikhs who are doing 10 times more good work to counter all the rubbish you are indulging in. (y)
