Luckily her owners were staying on a local campsite and the campsite owner had read about us in Okehampton Times last week and called us and we found her just as the storm really settled in. She was so pleased to see her owner that there was no problem catching her and she was safely back to her campsite in an hour. Our new radios which were bought for us by the # Kennel Club Charitable trust really came into their own as the elderly owners had no mobile phones and we were able to keep in touch during the hour long search, via two way radios. This is the second search we have used them on searches as the night before there was no signal in the forest and we used radios all night to keep the search party in touch. We could never have afforded such radios without the help of #The Kennel Club
