why would the American Humanist Association, file a complaint with the school. ANYONE, even when i was in school, WOULD BE IN ALOT OF TROUBLE, such as paying, suspended, or both if you tore your books up, or deface them, or lost your books, and more if it was from the library, and i am assuming this was in the library where the bible would be, and you had to pay a late fee per day when it was late, and it didnt stop because it was a weekend, or school was out for summer it went on till the book was replaced or paid for! i see where they are complaining that this was her book from her house, BUT, i read somewhere if you intentionally, deliberately, go and deface or tear out a page in a book that was published it warrants a penalty, i like to follow this and see how this comes out, but it doesnt matter if this person was gay or not, the book-whether a bible or not-is the issue
