with the renewed interest in dinosaurs here is the artist conception of a mosasaur of that time period said to be 80 million years ago... the mosasaur was a sea creature.. Dr. Robert Bakker from the university of Colorado was quoted as saying the one that the remains were uncoved in Lowndes county in 1988 would have been at least 80 feet long and would have been able to swallow a Hereford steer in one gulp... Im not making this up,, I still have the newspaper with the article and also other literature from Dr. Douglas Jones from the university of Alabama...
