with the snowy weather finally upon is, its very important to remember to bang on your car hood to make sure any animals tucked in there to get out of the weather, have time to make it out before you turn your car on. Also, for our outdoor pets, please remember they require adequate shelter, food and fresh water. Make sure if they are on a tether, that it does not have anything it can get caught up on, especially with ice around. Keep them as safe as we would our indoor pets. for all sized animals going for walks, now is the time to be using booties. Temperatures are going down, the snow is wet enough to stick to their fur and to make balls of ice between their pads. check their paws daily for signs of frost bite as well as the tips of their ears. They have a much smaller body mass than we do and can come by this much easier in warmer temps than we can. Other than that, let your animals enjoy a romp in the snow and catching snowballs!
