wow!!!! i dunno what ta say!!!! yall ROCK here in randolph county - u totally shattered all my previous records - ive had this tithing schedule in place since b4 i started on this trip while i was livin on the streets of indy & i very rarely went above the $100 (20 percentile) range; never, b4 this week have i gone above the $250 (50 percentile) range; fri nite i had ta count my money 4 times in order ta believe it - the first time i ever went above the 50 percentile range i was clear up over $400 in the 90 percentile range; we more than quadrupled my previous record in tithes ($216 last week in richmond, wayne county) we made $873 in tithes to give the following 9 charities $97 ea: 1) Randolph Economic Development Corporation, 2) Randolph County Literacy Coalition Inc, 3) Winchester Rotary Club, 4) St Vincent Randolph Foundation, 5) Winchester Community Food Pantry, 6) United Way of Randolph County, 7) The Journey Home, 8) Community Help Center (Union City), & 9) Community Foundation of Randolph County.... & u folx sure do feed the wildlife in this town - thank u all who donated food & drink. u local folx, & u followers of mine who find yerselves travellin thru winchester anytime in the future - yall b sure ta patronize just about any & all of the local downtown restaurants & businesses & tell em harry sentchas..... thank u to the lady from China House who brot me the nice hot tasty bowl of chicken noodle soup the first day i sat out on that bench. the good folx of Our Pizza House brot me a menu & let me order whatever i wanted - no cost to me - then went back & prepared it & personally delivered it to me on my bench. the good folx at Mrs Wicks Pies & Restaurant drove me up to their restaurant to order anything i wanted off their menu, then gave me 2 $10 gift cards & drove me back to my bench. the Corner Cafe didnt charge me any extra for all the extras that i ordered for breakfast sun morn. Two very beautiful, gorgeous young ladies, employees at a local salon west of the China House (sorry ladies, sufferin from olodtimers disease brain fart - i cant remember the name of your establishment, but im sure the locals will figger it out) brot me a box of chocolates & some other goodies & extended an open invite ta come on down & drink some hot chocolate or coffee w/ them if i needed ta warm up - an invite that i never really got the chance to take advantage of cuz all the other randolph county folx were makin sure i wuz well-fed & watered. Rick Sanders, the proprietor of Recycled Relics, graciously allowed me to leave my shopping cart on his premises so i wouldnt have to cart it all over town w/ me - and allowed me to warm up in his shop & hook my laptop up to his wifi. The folx at A&B Cafe - managers, owner, bartenders, customers - i couldnt hardly pay a penny for nuthin whenever i went in there - some o the bartenders wouldnt even let me tip them..... & one very kind & generous local lady gave me a keycard for a room at the Randolph County Inn for a nite - the only negative experience i had in this town was when i tried to check in there - the clerk on duty was very obviously not too happy about lettin this old hairy hippie homeless hobo stay in her establishment for the nite, but she came around..... also, shortly after i first set up shop on the bench; a very courteous and kind winchester police officer brot me a cup of coffee & welcomed me to winchester; &, i really do feel the need to apologize, bcuz im human, & i profiled him, when he first pulled up to the curb near where i wuz sitting, im thinkin, oh no, here we go again..... I just want to thank all you good folks of winchester & randolph county for your grace, courtesy, & genuine good ol fashioned hoosier hospitality.....
