wow if only our community would move in that direction as a whole and not just chief and council,i know they feel they have that authority to be able to do what they feel is best for the community but if they dont get any direction from the people,then its not a community driven process and yet it we the people that are affected by what they say and do in the end,our leaders need to understand one thing,they dont own anything that is funded by the government,yes they are their to manage the funding and make sure its being used to where its supposed to go,but also the people have a right to ask for accountability and be apart of whats needed in our community,we should have a say,we see and hear everything that goes on around our community and yet were left out,so far all ive heard is we want change from our chief,well get the whole community involved,not just a few whom you select..........our leaders shouldnt have to have meetings behind closed doors,especially when it involves our community,i dont really have any faith or hope in the coming year especially with whats being planned already by our leaders,their always rushing into things and listening to the band lawyer,our leaders need to meet with its band members,not lawyers or consultants,its we the people who live here and know what we need,lawyers just look out for themselves and for their own best interests...............we on the other hand,look out for each in our communities,its nice to hear and see other communities moving forward with each other and its so encouraging to others that it can happen but not alone,we need each other because if we dont move together,we will always be divided and go in circles..............so to our leaders of NCN ,were waiting to be involved as a whole,and it wont cost you anything.............
