wow!! the the city of cape town mayco member jp(barking dogs) smith never fails to prove his incompitence and ignorance of actual conditions on the cape flats related to gang voilence and the illigal drug trade,as the political head of the metro police in cape town councilor jp smith obviosly does not understand the legislation that govern the mandate of the cape town metro police,not so long ago in his own words jp smith elaborated on the statotory limitations of the metro police,that basicly means that metro cops are traffic cops,now jp and dan plato came up with the idea of a task force to deal with gangs and drug trading,it seems jp and dan plato have been watching to many chuck norris movies in a smoke filled room,first they came up with project ceasfire and a few millions later ceasefire came under fire and died a silent death, when the peace nogotiators the late pastor albern martins and pastor ivan waldeck came under fire on the cape flats dan plato increased his personal security, in the recent exchanges between tony ehrenreich and jp smith on the questions related to the gang voilence jp was exposed as a complete idiot,firstly where tony ehrenreich lives ,if i remember correctly in uitsig next to ravensmead,ehrenreich can actualy hear the gunshots in his bedroom and ehrenreich is well informd and up to speed on the safety crises in the communities and reflect the concern of most residents, jp on the other hand only knows where the dogs are barking,the recent debate on this matter only exposed the need for a commision of inquery into the way the city of cape town have been handling the gang voilence on the cape flats,the western cape department of community safety and dan plato must also be investigated for their handling of the gang related voilence in the province,if it is true that jp and dan plato was withholding information from the police then they should both be charged with obstruction of justice,since it is clear that jp (barking dogs) smith and his provincial partner in crime dan plato is wasting taxpayer resources to politicly undermine the south african police services,the evil twins failed to create the statutory partnerships with the police,instead the have been undermining the cops every step of the way,not that the cops are angels in this matter,but look at the great improvements in community policing in mitchels plain,guys like general veary have done outstanding work all the way and is statisticly the hardest working cop in this province,why not team up with veary since he have had many succceses in combating organised crime in the province,jp smith and dan plato have effectively set us back ten years in the fight against organised crime in this province and they should be investigated.
