x.amira.x 22 mins ago My friends son committed suicide yesterday evening as a result of being bullied. He was in the eighth grade. Such a tragedy. I pray for his family and friends. Parents and teachers need to pay closer attention to their children. Awareness of bullying needs more attention on and offline. I personally keep track of my childrens phone and internet activities. They so much cant break a fingernail without me knowing. I do not view myself as being strict or over-protective. I am cautious and attentitive. I urge all parents to talk with your children. Plz say a prayer tonight not only for this family but for all children whether they are bullied or not. Let us pray that those bullied find the strength to speak up against it. Let us pray that those who bully others may see the wrong in their ways nj/union/index.ssf/2014/01/linden_middle_school_stude nt_kills_self_officials_confirm _second_student_death_this _month.html ____________________________ ________________________ There is too much of this going on both on and offline and especially in schools. Talk to your children and let them know they can talk to you about anything. Start this at an early age and they wont be afraid to come to you when they have a problem. Its up to parents, teachers, employers and those in charge to eradicate this problem!! If theyre being bullied in school approach the school authorities with the problem and get it solved. Never belittle your kids, especially you dads, for not standing up to their bully, at least until you know who the bully is. Be attentive and understanding or your child may be the next one to make the news!!!
