The regime’s daily bombardment of towns and cities continues. Part of the city and suburbs of Aleppo were shelled with heavy regime weaponry. In the suburbs, warplanes struck the areas near the two military airports, Minig and Kweres, while explosive barrels were dropped near the latter. Ten civilians were arbitrarily arrested in a southeastern suburban village of Aleppo, while clashes broke out in the area. In Damascus, the regular shelling and clashes north and south of the city are ongoing, and in the Mazeh district, several young men were witnessed being aggressively beaten by regime forces, and sent to detention. Shelling, clashes, and demonstrations were noted throughout the Damascus Suburbs, and multiple surface-to-surface missiles hit both Shaba’a and Deir Salman. Explosions were heard in Daraa city during the outbreak of clashes. Artillery shells launched by Hezbollah and regime troops struck multiple parts of Daraa’s city and suburbs. Deir Ezzor, Idlib, Raqqa, Homs, and the suburbs of both Hama and Lattakia remain under indiscriminate bombardment. In Homs’s historical Palmyra, regime warplanes attacked, dropping cluster and thermobaric bombs. Several children in Helfaya, northern Hama Suburbs, were reportedly targeted with direct regime gunfire today. Opposition and regime forces clashes are ongoing in the Hama Subrubs and near Raqqa’s Tabaqa Military Airport. Amouda, Hasakeh, remains under the Kurdish Democratic Union Party (PYD) after their violent attack against a peaceful anti-regime protest in the area, as vehicles equipped with loudspeakers are roaming the streets to terrorize and threaten residents to stay in their houses, and snipers are being deployed atop buildings. Kurdish Popular Protection Units (YPG) attacked two demonstrations in the nearby Qamishli town today, and set fire to the Azadi Party Office and two Kurdish cultural centers. Large campaigns of arrests are being conducted by the Party in Amouda, as more than 100 people have been detained, including the former president of the Kurdish National Council. Also, the two villages of Jrank and Joharieh in Qamishli were completely cleared of men, as they were all arrested by YPG forces. This is an SRCU Daily Wrap-Up Report. https://facebook/monasiqoon Another demonstration in Amouda was targeted by these forces today, leaving six dead, among them two children. Protestors erupting countrywide today indicated their strong solidarity with Amouda.
