yay, a very productive day has come to an end. Part of the problem or what seemed like one, lol. Myself and 50 others in my mobile park got violations and have one week to correct them. It really made me angry. I have lived here for going on 7 years now and have never had a problem. My violations were: take down my christmas lights, put up new mini blinds and clean up the wood in the front. What ticked me off that most, at least 95% of the tenants and home owners here are on Social Security. we dont have money toward the end of the month, we are on a fixed income and get checks on the 1st, and some like me on the 3rd. and next week is Thanksgiving. We all have until the 24th to make these corrections. I am only 1 of 2 singles living here, the others are families with kids or older couples. I have 11 windows and I have the smallest home here. I was angry because I have a tendency to take things personal and can be self centered as hell at times. My first thought was have you looked around this park. I really have the nicest yard, actually the only yard in any of the 3 parks this company owns. I take care of my place and pride myself on my yard and home. After I got over myself, and began Tuesday afternoon to work on solving the problems. I was actually doing a window treatment when they put the notice on my gate. I finished those 2 windows and this morning while walked I remembered I had 2 matching bamboo shades in my shed. So I came home got the shades, perfect fit and replace the blinds in the front, checked that one off. Got the long handed cutter shovel and took down the Christmas lights, check that one off the list. This afternoon I removed all my wood landscaping and cleaned up all the dead plants that froze over the weekend, check that one off. I maybe bedridden tomorrow by I got ur done. Three people offered to help, those of you who know me know they didnt show up and you know I am tenacious, I will do it if it kills me. One of my teenage neighbors came running over about 4 pm and ask if she could help me. That girl worked her butt off taking those huge branches I used for landscaping and we piled them up. and filled the trash with vines and dead plants. What a gift that was, still shacking my head. The Creator never seems to amaze me. One of the 3 who offered to help called about 5 and said he was on his way. actually perfect timing. he filled his truck with the limbs, dumbed my trash and left, he was here 45 minutes. I need a little clean up and everything is done. Not sure how crazy I looked out there acting like I was 25, plugged into oxygen, hauling or pulling huge ass tree limbs, lol. Just a blessed day Father thank you. good night
