(just click on the Tripadvisor logo under the cover pic) her one of the wonderful reviews: Hello, Id like to share my experience from the Restaurante Merienda where I went the other day with a group of friends. We drove from Cusco to Chinchero to visit the local market (famous for its handmade textiles) and the ruins and found by chance the beautiful restaurant, located in a stone house on a small hill on the way (or back) from the Inca ruins. The attention/service was friendly and the food we ordered came pretty fast. They offer two different touristic menus (very good value for money) as well as a range of different salads (Ive had the tropical salad, yummy!!), sandwiches, appetizers, soups, desserts and main courses from the normal menu. The food looks really nice (high quality!) and the salad and pasta I tasted were both awesome! If you go to /pass through Chinchero, make sure to have lunch (I think they also offer breakfast) at this restaurant!
