yesterday I continued my pilgrimage of visiting various churches as I pray my way forward in this new season of life. I was blessed to worship at Holy Trinity Fairfax. The warm and welcoming congregation meets at the school my wife teaches at, Trinity Christian School, and is also walking distance from our home....over the river and through the woods quite literally - a 5 minute walk. One of the prayers that spoke to me says: We beseech Thee to hear us, Good Lord....That it may please Thee to give to all Thy people increase in grace to hear meekly Thy Word, and to receive IT with pure affection, and to bring forth the fruits of the Spirit... and to that, all Gods people say....Amen.
