yesterday during a blatantly partisan programme on Botswana television on the BDP manifesto launch his excellency kept on listing many indexes which put Botswana at the highest rankings. for example Global Governabce Index, Global peace index, Mining Perception index blah blah! there were too many to mention! My question comrades who are these guys come up with these indexes? Are these a true reflection of Botswanas socio -economic or political situation? How are they made? This is an innocent question that is not based on partisan bias but on a quest for knowledge. help!
