yesterday marked the end of the 3 days National consultative - TopicsExpress

yesterday marked the end of the 3 days National consultative conference on free and fair elections in uganda in which a compact was signed detailing what the Ugandan citizens that assembled at hotel Africana hailing from all regions and spectrum of Uganda. we contributed to the constitutional and electoral reforms that we would like parliament to adopt. indeed this was an opportunity i was honoured to be part of this historic event that offered the strategic direction to our country. we adopted a number of key amendments we proposed and i think the conspicious absent of the nrm AT The NATIONAL CONVENTION showcased how NRM isnt ready for reforms and will frustrate it. but it will go on record and anals of history that patriotic Ugandans sat and decided on how the electoral system should be run to foster for a credible election. M7 mal-aDMINISTRATION HAS PERSONALISED Tour country and its the kind of tradition we want to change. this countr belongs to us all and i strongly believe the M7 regime will go very soon. and these are the reforms that will be fronted for a new administration. i thank the civil society under the consortium of Uganda National NGO Forum and political parties for convening this historic event. but quite noticeable, the NRM delegates that attended yes the 3 days conference indeed contributed very well to the issues that we conceptualised in the convetion. anyway the reforms are not only beneficial to we in the political opposition alone but also to the NRM coz they will guarantee the stability of this cuntry if implemented.
