... yesterday was our last community play as Hanby and Barrett, the next one will be under our new name of Excavate (well be having a proper launch in the New Year). Our first and last show under the name - covering a thirteen year period - were both commissioned by Clare Janes. Weve all got a bit older since then, and yesterday was a great way to end this stage of our journey. Over the weekend hundreds of Netherfield people - young and old - came out to see the exhibitions, talks and, of course, the play that we made together. Thanks to everyone that helped in any way, and to all of the cast, who managed to get the show up and running in the shortest period of time we have ever had. Were looking forward to seeing whats down the line and hoping youll all come with us.
