yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and YOU WILL FIND REST FOR YOUR SOULS. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light. ~Matthew 11:28-30 While I often think of this scripture in relation to funerals, I find it is so relevant for my life and so many of us who lead very busy lives today. We are groomed to be busy, busy, busy and actually take pride in how much we have on our plates. I am learning that God ordains rest, particularly rest in Him. I desire to take on His yoke and learn from Him and I am finding that it calls for slowing down, so that I will truly hear His voice. And when I do, I find true rest. May you be blessed with His true rest for your souls today. :)
