you awake face down in the dirt. as you turn over and brush your face clean you look around and see nothing, the land is empty and dry. with some squinting you can see a mountain in the distance and you decide to walk towards it. climbing up the mountain so you can get a better view seems like the best plan you have so you start making the hike. as youre making your way up the mountain you can see things in the distance that you recognize. you can see what looks like highway 47 that was pretty close to your house, but where is the gas station that was there? as you get higher you begin to recognize other mountains around your home but none of the buildings that were once there. you get an itch on your face and as you scratch it you discover a thick beard, you look down in horror and see that it reaches down your chest. how long have you been asleep? you keep climbing the mountain and can see no signs of life as far as your eyes reach and begin thinking about your family, friends, loved ones. the sun is quickly falling so when you see a small cave opening you go in. you sit down on the ground and out of the corner of your eye notice something. there is something peeking out of the bottom of a rock. you move the rocks away as quickly as you can and pull out the treasure in front of you, a copy of jock jams volume 37. you are home.
