you cant run a defensive system without quality crease cleaners. Simmonds isnt bad at it but hes not a #1 guy like were using him as. You need to have 3 crease cleaners 2 defense and 1 offense. Simmonds makes a fine offensive crease cleaner! for defense? Grossman is a flunk that vision Homer saw didnt work out! Oliver Lauridsen showed us he had more talent of clearing the crease in just 7 games than Grossman has in 2 seasons now. Where the hell is Oliver Laurdisen? Scott Heartnel was a descent crease cleaner but hes getting old and has the injuries we cant expect him to keep on doing it. Sean Morin is working on his offensive game. Hagg is working on his decision making. Id really like us to spend our first 3 draft picks this year on crease clearing talent. I really want a mean man like Pronger was in our crease. this is an issue we should be talking about. we have got to have the worst set of crease cleaners in the NHL right now.
