you could talk down about Exxon for ten hours with a Democrat, about lying PR reps, and corporate deceit, and CEO pay rackets, and theyd be right on board with you - but make the same accusations about their heroes, like Obama or Warren, even with supporting evidence - that theyre complicit in any kind of major wrongdoing - and all of a sudden youre a conspiracy theorist. same principles go for Republicans and whoever they demonize - terrorists, the liberal media, etc.. and for Zionists and Israeli militarism, come to think of it. honestly, people probably didnt save much skepticism for Julius Caesar or Nero either. skepticism must get too difficult for people when the implications are depressing or scary enough.
