you gotta love the internet. our AC went out yesterday. The motor would turn on , but the fan would not turn. So went online and checked out youtube and found that the capacitor went out. So instead of paying humdreds of dollars to have someone come look at it. which we do not have that kind of money I went to amazon and found the exact same one. Thank goodness we wont need the air after today. So i learned the capacitor holds power even after the power is off. Learned how to depower the capacitor and removed it . I love when i can do things myself instead of calling a guy to come in here and rip me off. btw i got the capacitor free with amazon gc i get when i do surveys
