you left it to late, wow is just for the cynical now, its magic was lost after during wrath of lich king. For some it was lost straight after wrath. Alot of new people did come to the game at that time as well as they made the game even more easier, but now the game is just ridiculous its no fun at all, people who still play , they play because they have cant stop. There is no social experience in the game anymore people log on, to some loot , and log 0ff again. The questing hubs are dead too with people leveling up in a day. no group ques,t no making friends to go dungeon crawling with,.. its all gone. Only social experience left is if you with a really good guild. and even then it aint the same. --TonyMon16, YouTuber Otherwise, upon reflecting this documentary, I think that Blizzard Entertainment is a great company with great people who make great games, but they are like tragic heroes who made the fatal mistake of over-aggrandizing the experience. To use a political idiom, The tent got so big it now stands for nothing. Blizzard has indeed forgotten about the players that *do* matter(not talking about the hardcores specifically), who *do* care about the game, and ever to that end they cater to the mob. Some players of the old guard, like me, accepted that reality and moved on. Others(like many of my in-game friends), in cynical denial, continue to insist that WoW is great only in their eyes and nobody elses opinions matters to them. Because if a game is great, it will succeed and it will bring more people to it by itself. However, when you lower the bar and cheapen the experience, everyone loses. Theres a side you see, and a side you dont see about the phenomenon of WoW, and I can guarantee you that from the outside looking in(not the inside looking out as in the case of Blizzard), things are darker than you know.
