you may know I LOVE LOVE LOVE to get rid of things. Im a collector of memories, not things. i was cleaning my bookshelf and came across this journal i started in 2002. yes, 2002!! I looked at it, paged thru it and was on my way to toss it when something said not just yet. you see, this is a journal I created (read: made the cover) to write in to my future man. I started at the back of the book and wrote in it when I missed him, on special days like valentines or Christmas or New Years.. and as the years went by, I moved toward the beginning of the book so that the newest entry would be the most recent, which the last entry would be written and book delivered the night before our wedding. compiled prayers, date ideas, baby names I liked at the time, whatever. in 2009, I stopped writing in it and havent looked at it since, not really sure ill have a chance to give it to anyone. and while its been a while since Ive written in here and have felt like itll never get read, something tells me to hold on to it a little bit longer.
