you unfriended me !! thats not a big deal but for the person who appreciates your work, informing him of a reason and doing it had been better. nobody wants to follow a discourteous person, no matter how they good are !! atleast not me. thank you and wish you the best. I feel like writing a few sentences about this in puplic. I dont know how many people know but there is a maximum of 5000 friends on facebook, you cant accept more friends than that unfortunately :/ Right now I almost reached the limit (and I reached the limit in the past, thats why I removed a bunch of friends too) but I also have over 1000 unanswered friend requests right now. Unfortunately, doing the math, there is no way I can accept all of them. :( Back when I started on facebook I accepted everybody who send me a request and I also added a bunch of people, without even knowing there is a limit! I know I should go thru all my friend requests to see if I know people in person but hopefully you can see its complicated to choose from so many. I deleted some friends to be able to add people I know for real, really love their art or people who I actually know in person if that makes sense. I sometimes go thru my friendlist to delete inactive accounts (which is super time consuming, thanks facebook!) And if I find people that I have only very little friends in common with (mostly people I dont know :( ), and we never talked a single word to each other, people who dont post art related stuff much, then its likely that I would remove that person too In order to accept people I actually know... Does that make sense? Please dont take that personal. Another reason why I unfriended people is when they only post status updates in a language I dont understand and no art that would keep me interested to follow this person. I also unfriended people with political attitude I dont agree with (anti gay, racism etc). I see every friend request as a sign of appreciation in some way but please dont be angry if I dont accept right now. I just really need to get some time to go thru my requests if Im only able to accept about 150 right now (and then I wouldnt have the chance to add any new people, even friends I meet in reallife, why cant you just raise the limit of friends facebook?) But I can also see why it seems tricky for some people: for example Ive send an unanswered friend request to somebody, and later I see that this person starts to follow me. Some people want to have their friend list more private and I can totally understand that! Also I wanted to add that in the end I think it doesnt matter that much if youre in my friends or not, at least at my end. If you want to write a comment for example and I reply, I dont make a difference of people who are actually in my friend list or not, since the number of my followers outnumbered my friends anyway. I appreciate all the followers (including friends who follow me)! Thanks for your support. Sorry for the long post. It seems its something people get really angry about, thats why I felt like I need to explain myself. I also would like to know how other people are handling this who reached the limit of friends.
