you will not believe what happened to day , I forgot about the old girl in the lounge room , teecup mastiff is right on my heels , opened the door and it was almost an upended teecup , shit , slam the door , put pup away and go back , had to get to my room, forgot about feral , how does one forget about the feral , she`s right at the door , usually she wont get off the bed till 3pm , I get into my room get dressed and try to get out , old girl is on one side snarling through the door and feral on the other side and they are trying to grab paws from under the door , I`m stuck in the middle , I cant get out , so now I`m yelling for Warren , no answer , ffs . screaming WARREN, where the hell is he ? oh warren has gone racing down the back he thinks I`m in trouble out side , bloody igit , he grabs the old girl takes her out, comes back grabs feral who is biting at the bit , all good . I then grab a coffee and go to boots , omg she has upended the kennel , blankets are in pieces, bucket of water tipped over , obviously she threw a dingo hissy fit , but she`s happy to see me . I put her lead on and we go talk to the other dingoes, Jack is now , oh yea oh yea , she looks ok says jack . boots doesnt think to kindly about the others and she swore at them . Boots wants to walk so we head out the gate down the road , and in my wisdom I decide to take a grave road , heads down to the river , bush land ,and not many houses, and no stress , nice walk about 5 ks , all good , went to go past this damn house and 2 sheep come out . I think we can go around these sheep [ one is black and one is white , I start yelling at these sheep , go on, get out ,go away , threw a honky nut, thinkin they bloody sheep how bad can it get . the black one recons I`m racist cos I threw a honky nut , truly you would think these sheep would buggar off , no! as we went to walk past , I`m talking to boots , distracting her from these two bloody sheep, who now are walking towards us , now come on , there`s a dingo on a lead and what the hell are these sheep thinking ? its about now I decide we had best turn around and head back , boots has other ideas, we turn and start back , the sheep follow , nooo , boots is saying let me at em let me at em so we start to walk faster the sheep start to trot , I start to jog , boots is running backwards , these damn sheep are now on a mission , we are running they are chasing us , what the hell , they got heads down and ready to have a go , how fast can one run with a dingo wanting to go back , shit we did out run them and headed home , but boots got to the gate and decided she was going back , a lesson these sheep need . which reminds me of a story an old dingo told me . many years ago I asked this elderly dingo why do you chase sheep ? he says , they stupid and smell and the stuff they covered in is horrible , so why do you chase them ? he continues with , I was trotting down this track and there were sheep in a paddock, one calls out , calls me a dog , I ignored his taunts , and tossed my head , but then the rest of them start yelling , insulting me , so I got amongst them and taught them a lesson , oh , I say, you killed them ?he turns his head and says a few , well then , now you know why you are in trouble , he says they started it . and you know what ,I do believe he told the truth and that is why today dingoes chase sheep . true story .
