youtu.be/7J-y2rFfny8 THIS IS AN EXTREME FRENCH TOAST EMERGENCY ALERT. THE PREVIOUS FTA HAS BEEN UPGRADED TO AN EFTA. IF YOU HAVENT RUN TO YOUR NEAREST STORE TO BUY MILK, BREAD, AND EGGS (MBEs), YOURE RUNNING OUT OF TIME! After looking at the latest forecast model runs, I agree with the Feds. Batten down the hatches, folks, for a classic NorEaster. Timing: overnight Monday into Tuesday, all day Tuesday and at least most of Tuesday Night/early morn Wednesday. Do not travel if at all possible on Tuesday. Winds sustained around 25mph (40kmh) with frequent gusts to 45mph (72kmh) or maybe a little more. Snowfall: Looking like the bulls-eye for this storm at the moment is a swath 20 to 50 miles inland (Fryeburg, Lewiston/Auburn, Augusta/Waterville, etc.) with close to two feet (60cm) of snow possible. A little less along the coast--18 to 20 inches (45-50cm). Ditto for Skowhegan. A foot or so (30cm) for Jackman. With the forecasted winds, the Feds have issued a Blizzard Warning for the coast and counties just inland. Everyone else has a standard Winter Storm Warning. Keep safe everyone!
