youtu.be/AZTZRtRFkvk This composer fascinates me. I learned about him in Mrs. Gigi Goates Brickhouses class today. She taught on other composers too, but the information about this one blows my mind. In order to make the Word of God more available to those who didnt have it readily available to them, do to the fact that is was rare for anyone to own bibles other than the priest because it was believed that they were the only ones who could convey the Word of God properly, Handel spent 3 weeks secluded in a room and composed this music containing the Word of God. It seems like a miracle to me for this man to be able to compose such music in only three weeks. Supposedly his servant was the only one to see him during this time. He would bring him his meals. I want to do some more studying on this fella. This is cool!!!!!!!!!!
