Wednesday at 10:54am EST, Mercury comes to a halt in 17 degrees of Aquarius (starting its 3-week retrograde phase), slowing things down tremendously today and tomorrow. Give yourself extra time to go to work this morning or to get things done. If you are traveling today, just simply go with the flow… youll get there... eventually wink emoticon The same is true when it comes to all our technological devices… This retrograde phase will last until Feb. 11th. People worry about Mercury retrogrades, but it’s important not to stop ones life during these times. As mentioned above, certain things may take longer -- but a retrograde gives us a chance to resolve things that have been keeping us from living our vision -- especially things that came up within the past three weeks. Take time to investigate your own thought processes: What feels progressive to you? What if you aligned yourself with that vision?For the next three weeks, we get a chance to explore our inner genius -- to connect from within to what’s unique about us. Its also a chance to readdress group experiences, humanitarian causes or technology. This is an internal process -- a chance to honor and communicate our vision, working from the inside to the outside. If you knew you actually could make a difference, what difference would you make? As always: with Mercury retrograde, always read the small print -- and re-read a contract before signing (if you have to sign something) -- or ask another person for a second opinion... Basically, during these periods, its best to be aware of any details that we might have overlooked... and check in with our intuition... and stay open to the possibility of renegotiation or adjustments, down the line!In general, Mercury Retrograde is a great time for reevaluating and reorganizing. This is especially true for our thought patterns and decisions (particularly those made in the 3 weeks prior to the start of the retrograde) -- but its true of our lives in general: we can reach a clearer understanding as to what works, and what doesn’t, and what needs to change. Reconnecting with old friends, family members and clients is also favored at this time, especially if more than 3 people are involved… Mercury also represents our day-to-day mind; this too is experienced more internally at this time.
