youtu.be/QjOHX-sxcII Oscar, Emmy and Golden Globe award winning actor Jeremy Irons plays cameo role in British pop group EverYoung’s new video British four-piece pop group EverYoung have had a boost to their chart hopes following the appearance of Jeremy Irons in the video for their new single ‘Starchaser’. The award-winning actor plays the grumpy owner of ‘EverYoung Café’ trying to keep his staff – band members Hollie McKinlay, Cherelle Williams, Eyal Booker and Jack Morlen – under control. Asked why he got involved in the video he said, ‘I did it because I liked the band. I watched them and saw they had talent so thought why not!’. ‘Starchaser’, a poptastic tune which displays the band’s upbeat nature, fun spirit and excellent vocals, is released on November 30th 2014. We wanted to make our video a bit different so to have such a well-known and fantastic actor as Jeremy Irons appear in our video was a dream. Having Jeremy do what he does has really brought it to life, we still cant quite believe he is in our video, hes in the next Batman movie! Seriously though we are so grateful that he wanted to do this with us, what a legend! enthused Jack. Across the landscape of pop music, there are a number of established faces and personalities that hold their position at the top of the pyramid. There are also the newbies, most of whom either seem to suddenly materialize into the mainstream without any explanation, or develop a following through a reality TV show. Since pop is mostly divided between these groups, it’s rare to find an artist that hasn’t taken a shortcut (whether it be through competition on a reality TV show or otherwise) to reach the glorious heights of stardom. But another breed of pop group does exist – those who make it through hard work, constant touring and a loyal following. With a rapidly ascending fan base of almost 60,000 Facebook fans, 11,000+ twitter followers and a super busy touring schedule - all gained off their own back – EverYoung are leading that charge. Combining a fun-loving, feel-good approach to their music, with a slick professionalism way beyond their years, along with a hearty dose of good old-fashioned hard work, EverYoung are a four-piece pop group from various places across the UK. Made up of two boys (Eyal and Jack) and two girls (Cherelle and Hollie), the group write all of their own songs, choreograph their own dance routines, and never mime. Meeting at The Sylvia Young Theatre School (previous pupils included Emma Bunton, Tom Fletcher, Denise Van Outen & Rita Ora), the group became good friends, soon deciding to form a band and tour. Promoting through the use of social media and YouTube cover videos, to date they’ve played at over 250+ schools, under age nightclubs, live gigs, radio stations and lots more. They have also featured in publications such as The Evening Standard, Shout, Girl Talk and Teen Now, as well as appearing on TV shows such as BBC London and Live with Fern Britton. In January 2015, they’ll also be releasing ‘Stuck In This Mess’, a mid-paced, heartfelt ballad, with sparse acoustic guitar and drums, that then explodes into a powerful chorus , once again showing that EverYoung are the ones to watch in modern pop music. EverYoung are proving that not only is their star shining brighter in their own world, but could very well branch into the wider world of the pop mainstream.
