youtu.be/V3BM0t5hBOs The power this bands is able to put out with 4 musicians, 1 singer and the occasional extra instrumentalist (this song for example) is amazing. Yes, its plain to see (hear) that they have a ton of tracks going with them, but it all works. I dont know a lot about Nightwish except it seems theyve always had a female lead singer and she has to be a cross between an opera soloist and rock singer. Not a screamer, but able to hit some high notes with a little growl now and then. I think the keyboard player pretty much writes the music and vocal melodies. Theyre from Finland I think. Theyre HUGE in Europe as you can see from this clip from the famous Wacken concert in Germany. Id love to go to Wacken someday. I dont have a bucket list, but if I did, Wacken would be on it. Europe has a habit of putting out huge sounding bands. Euro-metal, gothic-metal, symphonic-metal, happy-metal, (yes, its a term/genre) epic-metal, whatever you want to call it, its pretty moving stuff when you find a band that can do it good.
