There will not be a Shana Tovah for the Jewish community until the policies of violence and apartheid come to an end. Yom Kippur 2014 is approaching; it is the Day of Atonement, “For on this day He will forgive you, to purify you, that you be cleansed from all your sins before G‑d” (Leviticus 16:30). To be cleansed from all your sins, you must make peace with your brother. No more occupation and apartheid!
