And this is the manner of the release : every creditor to simplify the loan he gave to his neighbor not to require his neighbor or his brother, because it is called forgiveness of the Lord . 3 . A foreigner you may exact it , but your hand to forgive whatever of yours is with your brother 4 . that there are no poor among you, for the Lord will richly bless you in the land which the Lord your God is giving you to possess as an inheritance ; 5 . If you only listen to the voice of the Lord your God , to observe to do all this law , which I command you today. 6 . For the LORD your God will bless you as you promised , and you will lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow , you will rule over many nations , but they shall not reign over thee . 7 . If you are in a poor man , one of thy brethren within any of thy gates in thy land which the Lord your God is giving you, you shall not harden your heart and shut your hand is not your brother, poor ; 8 . and shall open your hand wide to him and willingly lend him sufficient for his need , whatever he needs. 9. Be careful no evil thought in your heart and say : The seventh year , the year of release . - And thine eye be evil against thy brother , the poor , and do not give him nothing , and he cry unto the LORD against thee , and it be sin to you . 10 . Willing to give him and not you to the heart when you give to him , because for this thing the Lord your God will bless you in all your work and in everything you undertake your hand. 11. Because the poor will not disappear from your land : therefore I command you, saying : You shall open your hand wide to your brother, to scarce and poor in your land ! 12. If your brother , a Hebrew or Jewish , you sell , let me serve six years and in the seventh year shall let him go free from you . 13. And when you send it by yourself free , let him go empty-handed ; 14. give him liberally from your flock, your threshing floor and from the winepress you , than that which the LORD your God has blessed you to give him . 15 . And remember that you were slaves in Egypt and that the LORD thy God redeemed thee: therefore I command you this thing today . 16. And if you say I will not go out with you ! - Because he loveth thee and thine house , because it is good for you 17. then you shall take an awl and thrust it through his ear to the door , and he shall be your slave forever. So to do and his maid . 18. Let it not seem hard when you send free from thee: for in six years he has served you twice as much as the wages of a hired servant and the Lord your God will bless you in everything you do . 19. To sanctify the Lord your God all the firstborn males that are born of large and small cattle you , to do no work with the firstling of thy bullock , and not shear the firstborn of your small animals . 20. The LORD thy God, to eat it every year , you and your household , the place which the Lord has chosen . 21. But if there is a fault , if it be lame, or blind, or has a serious flaw , not to sacrifice to the LORD your God. 22. Eat it within thy gates : and the unclean and the clean may eat it alike, as the gazelle or deer ; 23. only blood you shall not eat - to pour it on the ground like water .
