She passed away on the 26th of January 2014, 23 years old due to a very serious illness called cystic fibrosis that she was born with and has been struggling with her whole life. Her tiny body couldnt handle the battle anymore and gave in. We have always been very close as cousins because there was only a year between us and even though we sometimes have had some rough times with fighting and shouting we would always laugh about these things later on. I could tell her everything without having her judge me in any way because I know all the things she has been through as well. Will truly miss having you around to talk to. We had a lot of plans for summer 2014. She was going to come to England to visit me and experience everything England has to offer. I was also going back home to Denmark and Faroe Island soon where we were supposed to meet up and have some fun together, but everything can change so quickly. As I am sitting here writing this I don’t think Ive realized what has happened yet, it feels very unreal to all of a sudden lose someone that close to you and especially when they are as young as she was. She was always very smiling and positive about things and we could laugh for hours about nothing at all. No words can describe what I’m feeling right now, but hopefully you are in a better place now
