youtube/watch?v=BOjvPOBvd9A I would like to hear some comments guys, Mark W Matlock Abraham Darrielplease comment you guys are very interesting!!!!, basically the video talks about how african american men are going to Brazil to meet women there, some to marry, some just to date ya know, casual. The video says that right now african americanwomen are more prepared (academically speaking) and most of them earn more than african american men. It says how african american women are staying single because african american men dont look for them, they might feel intimidated, that they dont receive the respect they deserve as men in the houselhold, there are more details of course but in a nutshell those would the main ideas. I´ll say my opinion, i´m not saying I´m right but it´s just my opinion: In the past women used to be just housewives and would depend 100% of men, and in many situations that was not cool ´cause men would take advantage of that power and many times mistreat the wife. Now we women are more independent and you dont like that? :( it makes me sad, because we are more prepared we should be a good catch!!!! the way I see it men are doing this because if we are being mistreated we will kick their asses and say good bye, instead of thinking I´ll be a good man ALWAYS, not just to conquer the girl. Yes, many women are looking for the money, that the man has a great job you know, but its understandable that sometimes is not possible, many of us (women who went to college and work) just want a man who works (not as a hobby but a man that is working and is trying to grow, not matter how long it takes) and treats you with respect. If we receive that we will give it back. We can´t give respect and love if we dont receive it too and for what I see many men want to be the macho at home giving orders and receiving care just because they are men. Sometimes I wonder if that´s the reason women like me are still single, ´cause men just want to settle for little things and women like us imply that you have to have goals of growing and many men dont wanna do it. I would love to hear more opinions, other perspectives, please comment!!! :)
